Originally released digitally and on CD in 2007, 'Joe's' was Bruce Maclean's first official studio album since 1999's 'Way Out East,' and a bit of a grab-bag of styles and approaches. This reissue re-focuses things a bit, on the disc's namesake: The Orleans Barley Neck Inn (or, Joe's), the bar and restaurant where you will most often find Link Montana performing, with an assortment of different bands, to this day. The newly recut 'Joe's' largely resembles one of those sets you might catch on a Saturday night at the old Orleans institution: mostly covers, a couple tried and true originals, and of course, a helping of instrumental medleys. Because 'Joe's,' in its lengthier original form, has circulated more than the other reissues on this site since its initial release, nearly a decade ago, we're offering this set on a pay-what-you-like basis (which can mean free, if you choose). 'Joe's' was produced by Bruce Maclean (as Link Montana) and Rikki Bates at Maclean Studio in Orleans, MA. It was mastered by Dr. Toby Mountain at Northeastern Digital. It features Joey Spampinato, Jay Cournoyer, Chandler Travis, Geoffrey Morris, Kami Lyle, and Kimon Kirk.
